Was Gojo's funeral really needed ?

 Why are Gojo fans Angry ?

The JJK manga has now ended and many people don't seem to be happy with the ending and are complaining about how badly Gege Akutami handled Gojo's conclusion in the story , but is it the case ?Well the answer might be No . Gojo's speech and influence in the story is as strong as ever rather being the main reason why JJK gained so much popularity the character depth is as good as Yuji's . 

The Rise of term "Weapon" for Gojo 

The main reason behind Gojo fans being angry on not having a funeral is that they believe Gojo was just a weapon for jujutsu society and for Gege but , it is completely false . "Gojo was the strongest because he was Satoru Gojo" as simple as that even Yuta could not handle the six eyes properly and the term "Weapon" for Gojo fans came from here that even after Gojo's death his body was being used as a weapon to fight against Sukuna . Hence , when the fight against Sukuna ended fans were expecting to see the grave of Gojo or a funeral because the Heavy hitters were able to defeat Sukuna only because Gojo damaged Sukuna's Brain so that he will not be able to open domain . But after not getting any funeral or grave scene like Fushiguro's sister , the Fans were Disappointed !

The Impact of Satoru Gojo 

Gojo being the Sensei of our Main characters Yuji and Yuta , has a very big impact on the jujutsukaisen's story line . It was only because of  Gojo that the Jujutsu world was protected and Yuji got a chance to live his life (also Yuta). Gojo was the one who hid Sukuna's Last finger to protect Yuji from getting Executed . And even after Gojo was unsealed he was heartbroken to see Megumi being possessed by Sukuna as He was the father figure of Megumi , but still he fought against Sukuna and served his duty as the strongest sorcerer of the modern era .  

Was the Funeral really needed ?

In the last chapter of jujutsu kaisen manga we got to see the conversation between Gojo and Yuji and Gojo said to Yuji that "He too have love and dreams" and he knows everyone will forget him as soon as he's gone , but Yuji says that no one can ever forget him . This dialogue and interaction indicates that Gojo knew he is going to die in this battle and even Yuji says him that "you seem out of character today" but Gojo shrug it off by saying its just his confidence and Encourage Yuji by saying " I am expecting Great things from you, Yuji " . This is one of the reason that Yuji's Will power was strong against Sukuna because Gojo wanted Yuji to become the next Strongest sorcerer who can do things that Gojo couldn't achieve in his life , Saving his Dear friend ! . Hence Gojo's Impact on the story and on Yuji's Character is very huge and in the next panel of the manga we see Yuji encouraging and showing Empathy to the curse user whom they arrested by saying that he must join them in their next mission and says "I'm expecting great things from you " ,the EXACT same words that Gojo said to him. 

This is the best conclusion Gojo could've gotten as a Sensei that the learning he gave to his Pupil is helping him to encourage other to create " Strong Allies" as he dreamt for the New era of  Jujutsu Society. hence,

Funeral or Grave scene would've not given such a tribute to Gojo as it has given by not showing any funeral !!
